De-fogging Windshield

  • Click on the video to view how our technology works in real life. Inside fog and light outside frost melts in less than 1 minute.
  • Hotlineglass-USA technology can de-fog or de-ice glazing depending on the vehicle needs.

De-icing Timelapse

  • Click on the video to view an in-house test of how Hotlineglass-USA technology removes frost in an automotive windshield following OEM specifications.
  • De-ices the wiper park area in less than 3 minutes and the viewing area in less than 6 minutes.

Automotive Windshields: De-fogging

  • “Wiggle wire” sinus wave and spacing provides fast and uniform heating of the glazing.
  • Bus bars and wires are embedded in the interlayer – then laminated into a windshield.
  • Wires are very thin (13-29 microns) and virtually invisible.
  • Bus bars are typically hidden by the glazing black ceramic frit perimeter.

Automotive Back-lites: De-fogging

  • Eliminates the horizontal heating silver ceramic lines from the back-lite.
  • Typically horizontal wire.

Automotive Heated Wiper: Park

  • Wires heat the wiper park location, selectively melting the snow and ice to “free” the blades in those areas.
